How much does Iden cost?
Iden is free to download and use. All core UUID generation features are available at no cost.

There is an optional one-time purchase — Iden Pro for $4.99 — that unlocks additional power-user features.

The free version gives you full access to Iden's main functionality:
- Generate UUID (v4) instantly
- Generate single or multiple UUIDs at once

What does Iden Pro unlock?
Iden Pro adds extra options for power users:
- Multiple UUID versions — v1, v3, v5, v7 in addition to v4

Is Iden Pro a subscription?
No. Iden Pro is a one-time purchase of $4.99. Pay once, use forever. No subscriptions, no recurring fees, no hidden costs.
What if I bought Pro on another Mac?
Tap "Restore Purchase" in the app, sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the purchase, and Pro will be unlocked automatically.
Does Pro work with Family Sharing?
Yes. Iden Pro supports Family Sharing — share your purchase with up to 5 family members at no extra cost.
Refund policy
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
Features
How do I generate a UUID?
Open Iden from the menu bar and click Generate. You can also use quick actions from the menu bar to instantly generate and copy 1, 10, 50, 100, 1 000 or 10 000 UUIDs.
Can I generate multiple UUIDs at once?
Yes. Choose the amount (e.g. 10) and click Generate. Use **Copy all** to copy the entire list to your clipboard.
How do I change the UUID format?
Use the FORMAT option at the bottom of the window. Pro unlocks additional formatting styles (uppercase, no dashes, braces, etc.).
Where can I see previously generated UUIDs?
Click RECENT to view your recent generation history.
