What data we collect

None. Iden does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app runs completely offline and does not require registration, sign-in or an internet connection.

Local data storage

Iden generates UUIDs locally on your device using standard system APIs.

Important to understand:
- UUIDs are generated entirely on your device
- No generated UUIDs are sent to any server
- No UUIDs are transmitted to the internet
- Generated identifiers are random and contain no personal information

Local data storage

User settings and recent generation history (selected format, UUID version, amount, etc.) are stored locally on your device using the standard macOS storage (UserDefaults).

This data:
- is not transmitted to our servers
- is not shared with third parties
- is accessible only to you
- is removed when you uninstall the app

In-App Purchases

Iden offers an optional one-time purchase (Iden Pro). Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase validation is handled by Apple's StoreKit.

Analytics and tracking

The app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs or tracking systems. Apple may collect anonymized installation statistics through the App Store, which is not under the developer's control.

Children

The app is not specifically designed for children under 13, but it is safe for users of any age, as it does not collect any data.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
