What data we collect

None. Tireo does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app runs completely offline and does not require registration, sign-in or an internet connection.

Use of Accessibility

Tireo uses macOS Accessibility permission to operate:

Accessibility — allows the app to read the currently selected textin any application and replace it with a typographically corrected version when you press the assigned hotkey.

Important to understand:
- Tireo does NOT record what you type (passwords, messages, documents)
- Tireo only accesses text when you explicitly trigger the hotkey
- Text is not saved to disk
- Text is not transmitted to the internet
- Text is processed locally and immediately discarded after correction

Local data storage

User settings (typography rules, presets, hotkeys, theme, language, sound preferences) and usage statistics (number of corrections, days of use, achievements progress) are stored locally on your device using standard macOS storage (UserDefaults and Application Support directory).

This data:
- is not transmitted to our servers
- is not shared with third parties
- is accessible only to you
- is removed when you uninstall the app

In-App Purchases

Tireo offers an optional one-time purchase — Tireo Pro — that unlocks additional features:
- Custom typography rule presets
- Floating button customization
- All popular Unicode symbol tables
- All case conversion options
- Result placement customization

Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Apple may collect purchase-related data in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

Tireo Pro supports Family Sharing and Restore Purchase functionality provided by Apple.

Analytics and tracking

The app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs or tracking systems. Apple may collect anonymized installation statistics through the App Store, which is not under the developer's control.

Children

The app is not specifically designed for children under 13, butit is safe for users of any age, as it does not collect any data.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
